Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas Engagement: The singer's parents go desi for the Roka ceremony
At the Roka ceremony of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the singer's parents too opted for a traditional look just like the couple. Check out the pictures below.
It was a visual delight to see Nick Jonas and his parents arriving at the Mumbai airport for the engagement party of their son with Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra. His mom Denise Jonas and dad Kevin Jonas Sr were seen carrying loads of gifts for PeeCee and her family ahead of the ceremony. Post that both the families were spotted at a pre-engagement dinner last night. For the Roka ceremony, Priyanka Chopra wore a beautiful pale yellow salwar kameez designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. But it isn't only she who went desi, it was Nick Jonas and his parents who also opted for a complete traditional look.
We got our hands on a photo, where Nick's parents are spotted looking at the singer and Priyanka intently during their Roka ceremony. In the photo, Kevin Sr is seen wearing white kurta pyjamas just like his son, while Denise looks pretty in a mint green salwar kameez. Meanwhile, for the lunch after the roka ceremony, the menu will have Punjabi cuisine. A source informed us that Nick Jonas was keen on having that. The American singer, who has tasted Dal Makhni and Butter Chicken before wants his parents to try on these Indian delicacies.
