Nick Jonas arrived in India two days ago with his parents sending rumour mills abuzz about his engagement with Priyanka Chopra. The couple confirmed their engagement today after their roka ceremony took place. They shared photos from the puja and roka ceremony on their social media account, with Nick referring to Priyanka as ‘Future Mrs. Jonas’. Nick Jonas and his parents donned traditional clothes for the puja and roka. Nick Jonas’ mother Denise Jonas looked beautiful in a light green outfit, whereas his father opted for white kurta-payjama.
Nick Jonas’ father Kevin Jonas Sr. warmly welcomed Priyanka Chopra to their family after the roka ceremony. He shared that he welcomes Priyanka in their family with love and excitement. The couple celebrated their engagement with their friends and family by hosting a get-together at her house in Mumbai. At the bash, Priyanka and Nick looked stylish. People had reported that Nick’s parents are flying to India for the ceremony and to inter-mingle with her family members before the wedding. As per reports, the couple will tie the knot in October in Los Angeles. Priyanka and Nick have reportedly been dating for three months. Priyanka opted out of Bharat for her engagement and marriage with Nick Jonas, as per reports.
