Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas engagement: Celebs galore attend the bash

Priyanka Chopra invited close friends from the industry to celebrate her engagement with Nick Jonas. The couple announced their engagement today after the roka ceremony took place at her Mumbai bungalow. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged last month on her birthday after he popped the question in London. The couple had celebrated with his brother Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. A month later, the couple confirmed their engagement to the world. They posted photos from the roka ceremony on their social media accounts.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ engagement bash saw directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Vishal Bharadwaj in attendance. Priyanka has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Goliyon ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela, Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani. Vishal Bharadwaj has worked with Priyanka in Kaminey and had said recently that he wants to cast her in his next film. The producers of Priyanka Chopra’s next film, The Sky is Pink, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala also arrived at the bash to congratulate the couple.Anjaana Anjani director Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta Anand also attended the bash.

After Priyanka Chopra walked out of Bharat, citing her engagement as the reason, there were reports that Salman Khan and his family are upset with her. However, Salman’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma and husband Aayush Sharma came for the bash. Priyanka Chopra’s close friend Anusha Dandekar and her manager Anjula Acharia posed for photos for the media. Apart from these celebs, Karan Johar was also invited to the bash. He could not attend it as he was busy with the shoot of the next season of Koffee with Karan.
