Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas Engagement: Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra and Arpita strike a pose with the couple

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas took a step further in their relationship as the couple finally confirmed the engagement rumours yesterday. They had a traditional roka ceremony which was attended by close friends and family. In the night, the couple hosted an intimate engagement bash which had a guest list of only 20 people, close to Priyanka and Nick. Amongst those invited and who also marked their presence were Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj, Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan Sharma. 

Alia took to Instagram to congratulate the happy couple and shared an inside photo from the bash. In the photo, Alia strikes a pose with Priyanka, Nick, Parineeti and Arpita and their happy smiles describes the lovely atmosphere of the party. For the bash, Priyanka looked gorgeous in a baby pink bodycon dress which she accessorised with a statement diamond neckpiece while Nick looked handsome in a grey printed collar tee with grey trousers. Alia dazzled in a midnight blue chiffon, ruffle detail dress featuring embroidered text around the waist while Parineeti looked beautiful in a black short lace dress featuring appliquéd hemline. Arpita opted for a Dolce and Gabbana dress with YSL tribute sandals.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy opposite Ranveer Singh, who she collaborates with on-screen for the first time. Parineeti Chopra will be pairing opposite Arjun Kapoor in two movies - Dibakar Banerjee's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Vipul Shah's Namaste England.
