Priyanka Chopra can't contain her excitement as she heads back to India, shares a lovely selfie
Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for the final three episodes of Quantico season 3 in Ireland. However, the actor has taken some time off from the shoot for a UNICEF event. She will be in the national capital, but for only 16 hours.
Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for the final three episodes of Quantico season 3 in Ireland. However, the actor has taken some time off from the shoot for a UNICEF event. She will be in the national capital, but for only 16 hours.
A source close to the actor revealed, "The invite came a week ago when PeeCee was shooting for the third season of Quantico in Ireland. But she decided to squeeze time out for the appearance. The event will see her deliver a talk about the importance of child education in rural India."
"PeeCee is in India for merely 16 hours. She has to be back on set in Dublin to shoot an action sequence for the show. Since she is taking two days' leave, she will have to make up for the lost time in the course of the week," the source added.
While on her way back to India, Priyanka expressed her happiness with a selfie and captioned it saying, ''Something so exciting about heading to the motherland. Even if it's for a few hours.''

Priyanka, who plays the role of Alex Parrish in Quantico, recently shared an incident where she lost out on a movie due to her skin color.
“It happened last year. I was out for a movie, and somebody [from the studio] called one of my agents and said, ‘She’s the wrong—what word did they used?—‘physicality.’ So in my defense as an actor, I’m like, ‘Do I need to be skinnier? Do I need to get in shape? Do I need to have abs?’ Like, what does ‘wrong physicality’ mean?” And then my agent broke it down for me. Like, ‘I think, Priy, they meant that they wanted someone who’s not brown.’ It affected me,'' she said.
