Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got formally engaged this morning after a Roka ceremony was held in the presence of their respective family members. Check out a few INSIDE pictures from their big day.
It is official now that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are indeed very much in love. The couple who got engaged a few days back in London has now confirmed the same with a formal Roka ceremony which took place at Chopra residence this morning. The Roka ceremony was followed by a pooja, pictures of which have now gone viral on the internet. The adorable duo was also snapped post their dinner date last night where they walked hand-in-hand making our hearts flutters a tad bit in the process.
For the Roka ceremony, Priyanka kept it elegant in a lime yellow salwar suit featuring silver embroidery. A pair of matching juttis and simple hair and makeup rounded her look out. On the other hand, Nick Jonas complimented PC’s look in a white kurta and churidar. The now 'desi' couple announced their union on the social media by sharing an oh-so-romantic picture. While Priyanka claimed to have been 'taken', Jonas referred to her as 'Future Mrs. Jonas'. Their Roka ceremony was a private affair with a few industry friends and family members marking their presence. Nick had flown down with his parents two days ago for their big day.
While cousin Parineeti Chopra flew down from Lucknow to be present for her sister's big day, close friend Arpita Khan Sharma also made it for the ceremony. Also present was VJ Anusha Dandekar, Mushtaq Sheikh, hair and makeup artists of PeeCee amongst others. Priyanka and Nick started seeing each other a couple of months back after the first meeting at the MET Gala red carpet last year. The two hit it off really well and are now expected to tie the knot in the next two months.
