Preity G Zinta and birthday boy Saif Ali Khan share a close-knit friendship since they starred together in Kya Kehna. The actress took to her Instagram Stories to share an adorable throwback photo with Saif.
Saif Ali Khan turns 48 today and close friends from the fraternity are wishing the actor on social media. One of them is Preity G Zinta who has been a close friend of Saif for many years. The two first starred together in the critically acclaimed film Kya Kehna (2000). They then starred in Farhan Akhtar's directorial debut Dil Chahta Hai (2001). Their chemistry was appreciated in Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) and absolutely adored in Salaam Namaste (2005) which dealt with a couple in a live-in relationship.
Preity took to her Instagram Stories to share a throwback photo with Saif from when they were a part of the tour, Temptation along with Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukerji and Arjun Rampal. In the photo, the two are clicked in a candid and quirky conversation and it defines their friendship beautifully. The two have always been each other's Tom and Jerry and you could witness it in their several old interviews together, especially when they appeared together on the show, Koffee With Karan.

Meanwhile, Saif rang in his birthday last night with his family members as wife Kareena Kapoor Khan played the perfect host. Joining the intimate birthday dinner were his kids Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, sister Soha Ali Khan with Kunal Kemmu and sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor.
