Pictures: Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan clicked in the city

Today, Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan were clicked by the shutterbugs in the city. 

Vidya looked beautiful in a purple saree with a golden border. She completed her look with beautiful earrings. The actress was all smiles as she got clicked at an event. 

The actress is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming movie, Tumhari Sulu. The film is a comedy-drama focusing on a housewife turning into an RJ (radio jockey). 

In a media interaction, Vidya spoke about her experience of filming the film. "I definitely know that I've not had fun on the screen for a while. I've been playing very intense and heavy characters, and after a long time, I got to play this character, who is always smiling, laughing and making people laugh. I do think it is precious to make people smile and laugh, and if a film is able to do that, it is amazing. I was definitely missing that in my life," said Vidya.

Directed by debutant Suresh Triveni, the film also stars Neha Dhupia and Manav Kaul in pivotal roles. It is set to hit the screens on November 17, 2017.

Amitabh Bachchan was also clicked in the city during an ad shoot. He was seen wearing a shawl and black trousers. Recently, Big B shared a picture with Jaya on the sets of an advertisement shoot. The beautiful couple was seen in traditional Indian wear. Amit Ji wore a golden sherwani with red dupatta. Whereas Jaya Ji was seen in a simple yet pretty salwar kameez. 

On the work front, Big B will next be seen in 102 Not Out alongside Umesh Shukla. The film is likely to release next year. He also has Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. Moreover, the legendary actor will be starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
