Pictures: Sonam Kapoor looks drop-dead gorgeous as she gets clicked at an event

Sonam Kapoor is a true fashionista when it comes to aesthetic fashion sense and style statements. Today, the gorgeous actress was clicked at an event by the shutterbugs. 

She looked amazingly beautiful in a pink tee and red striped pants designed by Zoe Champion. The Neerja actress styled her look with a printed multicolored overcoat and high heels. She was all smiles as she posed for the cameras.

Recently, during an interview with a leading magazine, Sonam had said that she feels that films without fashion and fashion without films don’t work. ‘’Both are visual mediums. It’s not only about dialogue and acting; I should appeal to the audience,” Sonam had said. 

‘’For me, Sridevi’s chiffon sari in Mr. India (1987) was a fashion breakthrough, as was Madhuri Dixit’s look in Tezaab (1988). It’s just about how you wear it, and that’s all that matters,” she added.

Talking about style statements, she had said, ‘’Fashion and style are about who you are as a person; you need to be individualistic. Nobody [can] love fashion as much as I do.”

On the professional front, Sonam will be next seen in R. Balki’s PadMan. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead roles.

Earlier, Sonam was all praises for Akshay and Balki as she said, "Such a pleasure working with the indomitable Akshay Kumar. He was the perfect person to play the role of Padman and has brought a sense of humour and love to the film. Of course none of these would have been possible without the humble visionary R. Balki. Padman' is an incredible story that Akshay Kumar has brought to life with such grace and humility. Coming to a city near you."

PadMan is slated to release on January 26, 2018.
