Pictures: Sidharth Malhotra looks dapper at Ittefaq’s special screening

Today, Sidharth Malhotra was clicked at the special screening of his movie, Ittefaq. He looked handsome in a denim shirt, cream trousers, and casual shoes. The actor was all smiles as he got clicked by the shutterbugs.

The movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles and has been co-produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. As a part of a promotional strategy, Karan earlier sat with the whole team and did an interrogation session. 

In the session, Karan asked Sidharth about his sex life. He had answered saying, "Exciting." Probing him further, Sidharth had said, "Exciting, thrilling and intriguing, all in the same line." Karan immediately asked whether this statement can have two versions, Sid laughed and tried to dodge the question and said: "Yes, there could be two sides...."

In this context, Karan had replied back saying, "Ittefaq is just like Sidharth's sex life - Exciting, thrilling and intriguing." 

The makers of the movie have gone for a very unusual technique of promoting the film. They took the route of NO-Promotions technique and we didn't get to see Sidharth, Sonakshi, and Akshaye at any interviews or city tours.

Karan had revealed that Sidharth was the first actor who got cast in the film. The Student of The Year director said, "Sidharth Malhotra was the first one to get cast for the film and then Sonakshi and Akshaye got seamlessly fit into the characters." 

Ittefaq is a remake of Yash Chopra's 1969 film of the same name. The new film has only one song Ittefaq Se, which is a recreation of the song Raat Baaki.
 
Directed by Abhay Chopra, Ittefaq will hit the theatre screens on November 3.
