Pictures: Shahid Kapoor snapped post a gym session

Shahid Kapoor is currently busy with the highly anticipated movie Padmavati which is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Today, the actor was snapped post an intense workout session, outside his gym. Shahid looked handsome in a black tee, black shorts, and a bright yellow sneakers. He was all smiles as he got clicked by the shutterbugs.

Meanwhile. Padmavati also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Shahid will be seen essaying the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh while Deepika plays the titular character Rani Padmini. Ranveer will be seen as the main antagonist Alauddin Khilji.

Shahid's focus after Padmavati will shift to Roshni which is being helmed by Shree Narayan Singh. According to a leading tabloid, the actor will be playing the role of a lawyer who fights against the power distribution companies in the country because of whom the consumers have to pay huge amounts in the name of electricity bills.

A source from the creative team revealed to the tabloid, "It's quite common for people to receive astronomical electricity bills and they don't know how to verify it. The story revolves around the problem of electricity, that's why it's tentatively called Roshni [light]. Shahid plays a lawyer, who raises his voice against this issue. What starts off as a single citizen's fight soon grows, as the country rallies behind him."
