Pictures: Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Navya Nanda back in the city after vacationing in Maldives

Amitabh Bachchan and family returned from a family holiday in Maldives. The actor was spotted at the airport today along with wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, daughter Shweta Nanda and granddaughters Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya.

Big B looked handsome in a black sweatshirt and white trousers. He was all smiles as he posed for the shutterbugs. Jaya Bachchan looked beautiful in a white outfit as she made her way towards the car. Navya Nanda was also spotted at the airport with Shweta Nanda. While Navya kept it comfortable and chic in a pink sweatshirt, Shweta too sported a casual look.

Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were too snapped together as they exited the airport and walked towards the car.

Earlier, about the birthday trip in Maldives, a friend of the superstar told a leading daily, "The entire Bachchan clan, including Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Navya Naveli and Agastya, will be heading out to Maldives on October 10. Abhishek and Aishwarya have planned a week-long celebration and supervised all the arrangements. Aaradhya has designed a special hand-painted card for her grandfather. They will ring in his birthday with fireworks, cake and wine."
 
"They had enjoyed the Maldives trip so much that they decided to re-visit it. They will be putting up at the same hotel that they stayed in, during Abhishek's birthday. In fact, Abhishek has planned a yacht party for the whole family again," added the friend.
