Picture Perfect: Alia Bhatt and mom Soni Razdan look lovely in this still

Despite having a busy schedule, Alia Bhatt has always managed to balance her personal and professional life. The actress, who recently wrapped up the shooting of her movie Raazi, posted a picture with her mom Soni Razdan on her Instagram account today.

The two looked extremely adorable while hugging each other. Alia captioned the image saying, ‘Mother Day.’

As per recent reports, Soni is also a part of the film Raazi. She will be playing the role of Alia's mother in the film.

Earlier, during an interaction with a leading daily Soni spoke at length about how Alia is on the right path and only needs to continue doing her hard work. She stated, "Alia doesn’t need my guidance regarding the kind of films she should do. Rather, she is quite a sorted individual who follows a strong instinct. And this seems to have worked in her favour. We [Soni, Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt] are all proud of what she has done for herself at such a young age (Alia is 24 now). She should just stay dedicated to her craft and the rest will fall into place. As her mother, I am always there, but Alia knows what she wants both professionally and personally."

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt has started prepping for her two upcoming films - Gully Boy and Brahmastra. Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar. The Dear Zindagi actress will work with Ranveer Singh in the movie. On the other hand, Brahmastra stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor and it is helmed by Ayan Mukherji. The movie is a trilogy of a fantasy adventure series.
