PICS: Sridevi's 55th birth anniversary: Boney-Janhvi-Khushi Kapoor in Delhi to pay tribute to the late actress

One of Bollywood's shining stars and wondrous actress Sridevi bid a goodbye to the world on February 24, 2018, leaving us all heartbroken. Her untimely death shook her family, the Indian film industry and her fans. Sridevi passed away due to accidental drowning in her hotel room's bathtub in Dubai. Today, on her 55th birth anniversary, many stars and fans remembered the Chandni star. Sridevi was not just a legendary actress, she was the epitome of success and ruled the film industry at a time when it was dominated by male actors.

On her 55th birth anniversary today, the Films Division in Delhi hosted a special screening of her films today and the same will be done tomorrow. They paid tribute to Sridevi as she has contributed to the film industry with her excellence and hard work over the years. Her films that will be screened are Mom, Lamhe, Mr India, English Vinglish, Sadma and Chandni. Boney Kapoor along with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were snapped at the event as they arrived in Delhi to pay tribute to Sridevi. Janhvi Kapoor looked beautiful in a yellow dress. Khushi looked pretty in a light green halter neck long dress.

At the event, Janhvi and Boney got emotional and also broke down as they remembered Sridevi.

Boney Kapoor said at the event that he misses Sridevi every day. He also said that his children - Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi are his strength.

Talking about Sridevi, she was last seen in Mom (2017). Her last appearance on screen will be in Aanand L Rai's Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Zero. Sridevi has a special appearance in the film.
