PICS: Sidharth Malhotra & Parineeti Chopra make for a stylish ‘jodi’ as they head to Chandigarh for promotions

Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra have shared screen space in the 2014-film Hasee Toh Phasee and these two are back again to enthrall the audiences with their upcoming film- Jabariya Jodi. And today, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra were snapped at the airport as they headed to Chandigarh for the promotions of the film. In the photos, Sidharth Malhotra looks dapper wearing a beige funky sweatshirt and black jeans and Parineeti Chopra looks gorgeous in an all-black look as she slays the airport look in a pencil skirt and crop top.

​​Post the trailer, the makers of Jabariya Jodi have released a couple of songs from the film and fans have been loving the songs. From a romantic track to a party song, Jabariya Jodi’s has always won half the battle with its songs. In the film, Parineeti Chopra will be seen playing the character of a feisty, head-strong girl named Babli Yadav who falls in love with a Bihari thug named Abhay Singh, played by Sidharth Malhotra. Talking about Jabariya Jodi, the film is based on true events in Bihar wherein grooms are kidnapped by the bride family and forced to marry the bride at gunpoint to avoid dowry. And in order to prep for the role, according to reports, Sid met men who deal in the business of kidnapping and Sid even learnt the Bihari dialect while shooting for the film. . Jabariya Jodi is slated to hit the theatres on August 2.

Besides Jabariya Jodi, Sidharth Malhotra is currently busy shooting for Shershaah opposite Tara Sutaria and Parineeti is busy prepping up for the biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal.
