After Hasee Toh Phasee, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra will recreate their sizzling chemistry in Jabariya Jodi, and currently, these two are going all out to promote their upcoming film. From making an appearance on reality shows to travelling to differ​​ent cities, Sid and Pari are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. And today, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra were snapped out and about in Mumbai, and in the photos, Sidharth looks dapper in a casual look while Parineeti looks chic in a pencil skirt and top.

Earlier, Jabariya Jodi was to hit the screens on August 2, 2019, but today, the makers announced that the release date of the film has been postponed to avoid box office clutter and now, the film will hit the screens on August 9, 2019. Talking about Jabariya Jodi, the film is based on true events in Bihar wherein grooms are kidnapped by the bride family and forced to marry the bride at gunpoint to avoid dowry. And in order to prep for the role, according to reports, Sid met men who deal in the business of kidnapping and Sid even learnt the Bihari dialect while shooting for the film.

In the film, while Sidharth will be seen as Abhay Singh, a Patna-based goon, Parineeti, on the other hand, plays the feisty Babli Yadav. Jabariya Jodi also stars Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Aparshakti Khurana, Ruslaan Mumtaz and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Post Jabaritya Jodi, Parineeti will begin shooting for the biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal while Sidharth Malhotra will dive onto the sets of Marjaavaan and Shershaah.
