Shahid Kapoor is the man of the moment, having delivered one of the high grossing films of 2019 and one of the most successful films of his career- Kabir Singh. As we speak, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Film- Kabir Singh, has zoomed past Rs 200 crores at the box office and looking at the craze for the film, it won’t come as a surprise if the film inches past the 300 crore mark. Today, Shahid Kapoor kick-started his day with a workout session in the gym as he was snapped outside the gym. In the photos, Shahid Kapoor is seen wearing an all-grey athleisure along with a cap and what caught our attention was his swag with which this hottie walked out of the gym.

For all those who don’t know, Shahid Kapoor had to put on eight kilos for Kabir Singh and then he had to lose all the kilos to shoot the college scenes in the film. A few days back, the cast and crew of Kabir Singh celebrated the success of the film in Mumbai and from Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani to other actors, everyone was in attendance at the party. But it was Shahid’s wifey aka Mira Rajput who was conspicuous by her absence as she is currently in New Delhi for a friend’s wedding.

As of now, Shahid hasn’t announced his next project yet and a few days back, an overwhelmed Shahid Kapoor took to social media to pen a heartwarming note for his fans after Kabir Singh crossed the 200 crore mark at the box office as he thanked his fans for making one of his most flawed characters one of his most loved.

Your love is so overwhelming words will always fall short. Thank you for understanding him forgiving him and loving him with all your heart. We all fall apart. And we all must strive to rise from our faults. To be better. To be wiser. To be kinder. He is flawed. So are we all. You didn’t judge him you experienced him. You understood him. I have never ever felt so thankful. The most flawed character I have ever played. Has become my most loved. Indeed indian cinema and the audience has come a long way. More power to brave choices. More power to you all for your maturity and humanness. You have given me wings to fly. To not only be burdened by the need to be loved to be a star but to have the courage to be hated in equal measure to be an actor. Here’s to cinema mirroring life. To protagonists who don’t have to be restricted by their goodness and can be human and imperfect. There is perfection in imperfection and that is the beauty and the challenge of this human life.
