Nowadays, whenever Shahid Kapoor is snapped out and about the city, this 38-year-old actor is all smiles  and why not because his last film, Kabir Singh has set the box office on fire, having zoomed past 250 crores mark at the box office. And today, when Shahid Kapoor was snapped outside his gym, the actor was all smiles and posed for the paparazzi before heading inside to sweat it out in the gym.

In the pictures, Shahid Kapoor is seen wearing a white tee paired with grey joggers but it is his headband that has all our attention, and as always, he looks super hot. A few days back, when Shahid Kapoor and wifey Mira Rajput Kapoor celebrated their wedding anniversary, this Ishq Vishk actor treated all his fans to an unseen photo from his wedding diary in which Shahid and Mira are sharing a cute moment right after they tied the knot in Delhi.

On the film front, Shahid Kapoor played the titular role in Sandeep Vanga’s Kabir Singh and he was seen romancing Kiara Advani for the first time on screen. In the film, Shahid essayed the role of an alcoholic surgeon who is on a path to self destruction after his girlfriend is forced to marry another man and although Kabir Singh received flak for its misogynistic undertones, however, Shahid Kapoor has received immense love for his role. When the film crossed the 200 crores mark, Shahid Kapoor took to social media to pen an emotional note for his fans as he thanked them for loving the most flawed character that he has ever played on celluloid.

Your love is so overwhelming words will always fall short. Thank you for understanding him forgiving him and loving him with all your heart. We all fall apart. And we all must strive to rise from our faults. To be better. To be wiser. To be kinder. He is flawed. So are we all. You didn’t judge him you experienced him. You understood him. I have never ever felt so thankful. The most flawed character I have ever played. Has become my most loved. Indeed indian cinema and the audience has come a long way. More power to brave choices. More power to you all for your maturity and humanness. You have given me wings to fly. To not only be burdened by the need to be loved to be a star but to have the courage to be hated in equal measure to be an actor. Here’s to cinema mirroring life. To protagonists who don’t have to be restricted by their goodness and can be human and imperfect. There is perfection in imperfection and that is the beauty and the challenge of this human life.
