PICS: Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan pose at the Vogue Women of the Year awards

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the Vogue Women of the Year awards in Mumbai today. Aishwarya looked stunning in a black gown as she posed for the shutterbugs. Shah Rukh Khan on the other hand looked dapper in a black suit. 

SRK's better half Gauri also attended the awards show looking gorgeous in a light blue saree. She was seen posing for pictures with Karan Johar, Shweta Bachchan and Arjun Kapoor. 

On the work front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in his Aanand L Rai movie, where he plays a dwarf. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. This is the second time the three stars are coming together for a movie, after Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Aishwarya will next be seen in Fanney Khan alongside Anil Kapoor. News has it that R Madhavan will feature opposite the lovely Aishwarya in this Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra movie. Fanney Khan is the Hindi adaptation of the Dutch film Everybody's Famous!  Aishwarya and Madhavan were last seen together in Mani Ratnam's Guru.

A source had mentioned about the film saying, "The film is about a pushy dad (Anil Kapoor) who is desperate to have his daughter succeed as a singer. He kidnaps the most famous pop star (Aishwarya) in the country and holds her hostage demanding a television appearance for his daughter. The story is manipulated later by the singer’s manager (a scheming, ruthless man who will do anything to keep his singer in the news and yet romantically linked to her) and the climax which is different from Everybody’s Famous and ends with a twist."
