PICS: Sara Ali Khan finishes up a good day's work in style

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her acting debut. She has signed Abhishek Kapoor’s next, Kedarnath. The film is all set to go on floors soon. Sara has been attending workshops to prepare for her role in the film. Kedarnath is a love-story set against the backdrop of a pilgrimage. The film will be shot in Uttarakhand. It is reported that Sara’s mother and actor Amrita Singh will be joining her on the outdoor schedule of the film. She is paired opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the film.

Sara attended a script-reading session with Sushant Singh Rajput today. She was captured by the shutterbugs looking fabulous. About his role, Sushant had said, “I play a pithu in Kedarnath”. Sushant will be playing a tourist escort who falls in love with a tourist from an affluent family, played by Sara Ali Khan.

This is a challenging and a riveting part for debutante Sara and Sushant. Sushant had said, “Preparation for me is mandatory. How else could I have a chance of actually changing my spontaneity or giving myself enough reasons to believe that I am the character?”

Director Abhishek Kapoor was earlier quoted saying, “I am in the midst of developing the film right now. Hopefully, I will start shooting soon. I am scheduling those dates. Like all my films, 'Kedarnath' is also written passionately. It's a love story and it's got the beautiful majestic Kedarnath temple as the backdrop. Let me start making the film and let the film do the talking.”
