Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge tied the knot earlier today. The lovely couple hosted a cocktail and dinner party for their family and friends in the city. Photos from their wedding went viral and fans congratulated the couple on their nuptials on their social media accounts. 

The couple had surprised everyone by announcing their engagement. About it, Sagarika had earlier revealed to a leading daily, "As for announcing it on social media, it was more for people to give their blessing because it would’ve anyway got out in some way or the other — we didn’t want to sit down and answer those questions. People kept asking us, ‘What’s happening’, and we thought that when we have something to say, then why not just say it." 

About their wedding, a source told a leading daily, “It’s an intimate, homely affair. Other than their family members, Zaheer’s close cricketer friends like Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, and Ajit Agarkar are also expected to be present. After the marriage, there will be a cocktail party at a five-star hotel in the evening. The Mehendi ceremony will take place on Sunday, followed by a grand reception on Monday evening.” 

Ajit Agarkar and his wife and Parthiv Patel with wife Avani were clicked at the party. 

Sachin Tendulkar attended the party with wife Anjali Tendulkar. Akash Ambani was also clicked by the shutterbugs as he made his way into the party. 

Hazel Keech too attended the party sans husband Yuvraj Singh. She looked gorgeous in a black and gold outfit. Sagarika Ghatge's co-star from Chak De India, Vidya Malawade looked fabulous in a white-peach lehenga and posed for photos. 

Abhishek Kapoor and wife Pragya Kapoor also attended the bash. Abhishek Kapoor is currently busy directing Sara Ali Khan's debut film, Kedarnath.
