PICS: Kangana Ranaut looks radiant and graceful in a floral saree

Kangana Ranaut has braved many controversies this year; the bold and beautiful actress has had a rough year with her films Rangoon and Simran not doing well at the box-office and her personal life being in the limelight. 

Kangana attended an event in the city today and looked super-stunning! She donned a lovely pink floral saree and sported exquisite green accessories to go with it. Kangana will be talking at a summit and will be launching a book there.

On the work front, Kangana has been busy with the shoot of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She has been shooting the film in Hyderabad and more recently, in Jodhpur, where she hurt herself during a fight sequence.

Kangana will start shooting for the film again towards the end of next week. Kangana was planning to turn director after the release of Manikarnika. But, recently she revealed that her directorial venture, Teju will not go on the floors soon. She had said, “Of course it was was the cards, but because Simran didn't work a lot for things changed for me, unfortunately. So now I'm going to be working in the capacity of an actor. There is another thriller I'm doing and another inspirational story after that. So you still have to wait to test my directorial skills.”

About her torn ligament, Kangana said, “I've had many mishaps on sets and a lot of accidents because essentially it's an action film, and we have a lot of action. First, I was hit by a sword. Then, I was hit on my back, I tore a ligament. But I just feel that whatever it takes to bring the most extraordinary story alive on screen and whatever I have to sacrifice is worth it, she was the greatest warrior of all times.”
