Deepika Padukone is clicked here by the paps, at the Mumbai airport. The dimpled beauty of Bollywood stunned in a very stylish airport look. Deepika, who seemed to be in a hurry, rushed to catch her flight.

On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial mega movie Padmavati. The movie, which was initially scheduled for a November release, has been postponed a couple of times. The movie also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, and is  much awaited by Bollywood lovers and well-wishers.

Deepika on the other hand is receiving support from all quarters including Shabhana Azmi and even Kangana Ranaut. Recently, Madhuri Dixit commented about the actress's acting prowess. She said, "There is Deepika Padukone, who is extremely gorgeous and she can carry the historical roles very beautifully because she has that aura."

Politician Shashi Tharoor commented about the controversy saying, "The whole controversy against ‘Padmavati’ is totally absurd. We have reached a critical point where those who claim to be offended manage to get their way. All you need to say is something has hurt your religious sentiment, let it be a book, a movie, an article or even a headline and it doesn’t matter even if it is accurate or truthful, but the law is in favour of them."
