On the work front, Anushka is busy with her project Pari, which is a mysterious love story, produced by herself. Anushka recently spoke about her career. When asked if she is planning to take up direction, Anushka said, "I have never planned things. And I guess that has worked for me so far. That’s just who I am as a person. By telling you I am not going to do it, there’s no guarantee that I am 100 percent not going to do it. But I’m not actively thinking about the direction yet, at the moment. I have no time for anything futile. I constantly want to keep getting better. I focus on only what needs to be done. It may get difficult; but atleast I am not doing any faltu ka cheez. I’m focussing on what I really have to."
Talking about Pari she had said, "If I tell you Pari is a love story, you will be surprised. But it is. It’s not something which you can define or confine into one genre. Horror’s always a treatment and atmospheric horror is just brilliant, which is what Pari is all about."
Anuska will also be seen in the Aanand L Rai movie opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The movie, which also features Katrina Kaif, is already much awaited.
