The 24th Kolkata Film Festival commenced yesterday (November 10) and had Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan at the inaugural ceremony. The event is being held at Kolkata's Netaji Indoor Stadium. The Kolkata Film Festival is celebrating 100 years of Bengali cinema. Along with SRK and Big B, other celebs who attended the film fest yesterday were Waheeda Rehman, Mahesh Bhatt, Nandita Das, Majid Majidi Phillip Noyce, Jil Bilcock, and others. Mamta Banerjee, who had hosted the event welcomed them all for the fest.
Today, Alia Bhatt attended the Kolkata Film Festival with her mom Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt. In the pictures from the event, the actress was a delight to eyes as she looked gorgeous in a maroon ethnic dress. The actress also took to her Instagram page to share a few pictures with her parents. At the event, she even interacted with the guests and other dignitaries. The talented actress gave one of the best films of 2018, Raazi which was also a box office success.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt has a long line up of films. She will be working with Varun Dhawan again in Abhishek Varman's period film, Kalank. The film also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sonakshi Sinha.
She will be seen with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.
Alia's first release next year is Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy in which she will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh for the first time. The film is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
