PICS: Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna get papped in the city

Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna were clicked in the city today. While Akshay looked handsome in denim pants and a shirt, Twinkle looked beautiful in black.

On the work front Akshay is busy with his film Pad Man. The film is written and directed by R. Balki and also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Adding to all the excitement is none other than Amitabh Bachchan, who will be seen in a special role. The movie is all set to release on January 26th.

The film is based on Twinkle Khanna's book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a Tamil Nadu-based social activist who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine.  Radhika Apte plays the on-screen wife of Akshay's character, Lakshmikant Chauhan.

Akshay was last seen in the movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha  directed by Shree Narayan Singh and co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey. To everyone's surprise, the movie fared brilliantly at the box office.
