Sanjay Kapur spotted with wife Priya Kapur and daughter Safira.
Karisma Kapoor and ex-husband Sanjay Kapur were granted divorce on mutual consent after a prolonged legal battle at the beginning of this year. Sanjay went on to marry Priya Sachdev in a low-key ceremony in April this year. Sanjay and Priya were in a relationship for over 5 years before they tied the knot this year.
Today, Sanjay and Priya caught up with their extended family over dinner. Spotted with them was Priya’s lovely daughter, Safira Chatwal. This is Sanjay’s third marriage and Priya’s second; Priya was earlier married to hotelier Vikram Chatwal.
Karisma Kapoor too, is reportedly in a steady relationship with Sandeep Toshniwal. About her divorce, father Randhir Kapoor had told a daily, “I don't know if it is a good or a bad thing, but it is certainly a sad moment for our family. The only silver lining in this is that the children will spend most part of the year with us. Karisma has been through a rough time in the last few years. It has been emotionally draining for her. So, I hope the verdict offers her some respite.”
Karisma’s sister, Kareena had said, “It is such a personal thing. Both Karisma and I haven’t spoken about it at all. How I support my sister is no one’s concern. I’m very happy that people are concerned about her, because she is a public figure, and I respect that. But people are also writing 500 versions of the matter (Karisma’s personal life), when no one knows the truth. My father had spoken about the matter because he was angry. But I haven’t commented on it and will not,” to a leading daily.
Karisma has been busy with her professional commitments and was last seen on the big screen in Dangerous Ishqq.
