Ace Fashion Designer Manish Malhotra hosted a birthday bash for Sridevi. Sridevi turned 54 a couple of days ago. Who’s who of B-Town dropped in at Manish’s house to wish the actress. Sridevi was last seen in Ravi Udaywar’s MOM in which she essayed the role of an anguished mother.
Manish Malhotra shared a very special photo from the bash. It brings together all the divas of Bollywood – Vidya Balan, Rani Mukerji, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rekha, Shabana Azmi and Tina Ambani. All the ladies exude charm and elegance in the unique photo. This is the first time when all these amazing actresses have been caught in one frame. The snap brings together B-Town’s powerhouse performers Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerji upped the glam quotient of the evening. Vidya Balan and Rekha wore a saree and looked extremely stylish.
Sridevi and Manish Malhotra are family friends and hence Manish hosted the party for Sridevi. Karan Johar was also in attendance at the bash. Besides Sridevi’s family, other celebrities who attended the party were Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Karan Tacker, Javed Akhtar, Farah Khan, Punit Malhotra.
On Sridevi’s birthday on 13th August, many actors wished her on social media. Sridevi made a comeback after a 15 year long gap with Gauri Shinde’s English Vinglish. Sridevi was honored with the prestigious Padma Shri Award in 2013. Sridevi started her career at the age of four as a child-artist. She has also acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. She has been deemed as ‘Female Superstar’ by her fans.
