Photos: Vivek Oberoi and Twinkle Khanna have a busy day in the city

There is a lot of buzz about Vivek Oberoi’s foray in the Southern Film industry. Vivek has debuted with Vivegam, a tamil thriller. The film starring super-star Ajith is already smashing records at the box office. Vivek is playing a pivotal character in the film. He had said, “Yes, I am doing my first Tamil film. People are confused about whether I play the hero or the villain, or I have a negative role or not. It’s a powerful parallel role.” He added, “When the director of the film Siva called me and said that he created the title Vivegam (my name in Tamil) only because he wanted me in the film, I was really humbled. It’s a `120 crore film and shot all across the globe in countries like Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc.”

Today, Vivek visited a suburban theatre in the city and interacted with fans who had come to watch his film. Vivek clicked selfies with fans and posed for pictures for the media.

Twinkle Khanna was also spotted out and about in the city. She looked lovely in her casual outfit. Twinkle who is an author and has two best-selling books, Mrs. Funnybones and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad also runs a successful store, The White Window. Twinkle had recently put up a tweet about open defecation and was trolled for it. She is producing PadMan, starring husband Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. It is based on the life of  entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, who came up with the revolutionary concept of low cost sanitary napkins machine.
