Photos: Virat Kohli, Manushi Chhillar and Rajkummar Rao win big at CNN-News 18 Indian of the Year Awards

CNN News 18 hosted their annual awards, Indian of the Year today in the capital city. This is the 9^th edition of the awards that recognize individuals from diverse fields who contribute to strengthening Brand India.

Virat Kohli was bestowed with Indian of the Year Award- Popular Choice. Virat looked dapper in a black suit as he came on the stage to collect his award. He is the only captain to have scored ten international hundreds in a calendar year and has the most centuries scored as captain for the Indian team. Virat has also successfully led team India to no. 1 rank in test cricket.

Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar was given an award for Special Achievement. The 20 year old won the Miss World crown after 17 years. Manushi looked stunning in a dark magenta colored off-shoulder gown.

Virat Kohli handed over her award to Manushi Chhillar. Baahubali actress Ramya Krishnan and Kapil Dev were also clicked at the ceremony.

Rajkummar Rao was awarded in the Entertainment category for his superlative performances in Trapped, Newton and Bareily Ki Barfi. The actor who is recovering from an ankle fracture attended the event in Delhi. He is slated to start shooting for Fanney Khan from next week.
