Photos: Varun Dhawan hosts a special screening of Judwaa 2’s trailer for Natasha Dalal

Varun Dhawan has been going strong with alleged lady-love Natasha Dalal. The Judwaa 2 actor had described her as his “soulmate” on a show. He had said, “I haven’t hidden it-that I have been in a relationship. I have just not spoken about it openly because the media sometimes make different versions of it. Also, she is not from the film industry, so I try to protect her from the media. I am protecting my personal life because it is my sanity. When I am done with shooting and I am home, that’s my reality, my reality check.”

Varun Dhawan’s next, Judwaa 2’s trailer is going to be launched on August 21 and today Varun hosted a special screening of the trailer for Natasha. Close friends and family also attended the screening. The film is directed by Varun’s father & Main Tera Hero director David Dhawan. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Varun’s brother, Director Rohit Dhawan and mother Karuna Dhawan were also in attendance.

The original film had Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha in lead roles. Salman Khan is slated to make a cameo in Judwaa 2. On comparisons with Salman Khan, Varun had said, “Actually, it was Salman bhai who laughed, and told me, 'You better act properly because they will compare you to me'.” He had also said, “I remember during the screening of Judwaa, I called him ‘uncle’. He said, ‘I’ll rap you if you call me uncle’.Guess what! He’s just sent me a suitcase full of jeans for Raja’s character in Judwaa 2. Bhai is proud of whatever I’ve done. He says I’m a bit too enthusiastic on screen and asks me to calm down. He’s someone I can go to whenever I need any help.”

Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu play female leads in the second installment of Judwaa.
