Photos: Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma promote Sui Dhaaga in Kolkata

Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan have been promoting their film Sui Dhaaga: Made in India in different cities. This is their first film together and the audience is excited to see the new jodi on screen. In Sui Dhaaga, Varun and Anushka's characters are called Mauji and Mamta, who are husband-wife. They live in a small town of Chanderi and dream of making it big in their tailoring business. Varun will be seen as a tailor and Anushka will play an embroiderer in the film. 

Today, the Sui Dhaaga actors were snapped in Kolkata for the promotions of their film. They also posed together on a hand-pulled rickshaw in the City of Joy. The rickshaw was beautifully decorated with colourful clothes, threads and the Sui Dhaaga logo. Anushka Sharma looked gorgeous in a white saree and a blue-white checkered blouse. Varun Dhawan wore a blue t-shirt and ripped blue jeans. His t-shirt had 'Mauji Sui Dhaaga' printed on it. Check out their pictures below:

Sui Dhaaga is directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma and Yash Raj Films (YRF). It is slated to release on September 28, 2018. Today, the makers shared a promo of a new song called Sab Badhiya Hai.

After Sui Dhaaga, Anushka will be seen this year in Aanand L Rai's Zero. The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Zero is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018.

Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha.
