PHOTOS: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are all smiles as they return from Hyderabad after Kalank shoot

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are busy with the second last schedule of their next film, Kalank. Kalank is being directed by Abhishek Varman and is Karan Johar’s dream project. The magnum opus has been shot in Mumbai, Indore, Kashmir and Hyderabad. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit besides Varun and Alia. Alia Bhatt was spotted at the airport two days ago as she headed to Hyderabad for the film’s shoot. She had posted on Instagram that she is heading to Hyderabad for the film’s second last schedule.

Varun Dhawan attended Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur the day before and headed to Hyderabad yesterday. The actors returned to Mumbai today and were spotted at the airport. Alia kept it simple in white traditional outfit whereas Varun was dressed in a checkered shirt and blue rugged denim. The co-stars shared a laugh as they exited the airport. Varun and Alia will reunite for the fourth time on screen with Kalank. They have previously worked in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Student of the Year.

The team will reportedly wrap up the film by January 2019. Kalank is slated to release in April 2019. Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani will be making special appearances in the film.

The film’s plot is set in 1940s and it has been shot on a grand scale. A lavish set has been mounted in Hyderabad for this schedule. Aditya Roy Kapur was also spotted at the airport as he headed to Hyderabad for shoot.
