Urmila Matondkar, the talented Bollywood actress popular for her films in the 90s, has now turned producer with her first Marathi film, Madhuri. The actress along with her husband Mohsin Akhtar attended the trailer launch for their first maiden production of Marathi film Madhuri. The actress along with the entire team of the film attended the launch and was snapped at the event that took place in Mumbai.

Matondkar and husband's production has been named Mumbapuri productions, and the trailer launch of Madhuri, being their first film, was definitely an auspicious event. The film, helmed by director Swapna Waghmare Joshi, has actor Sonali Kulkarni playing the titular role along with the likes of Sharad Kelkar and Sanhita Joshi among others. Urmila was dressed in a catchy yellow gown, while husband Mohsin wore casuals. The two clicked pictures as they posed for the paps and also were snapped along with the team of the film.

The film is based on Madhuri, a woman who is suffering from a personality disorder that is rather uncommon and how the life of her daughter goes for a complete toss when she discovers the same. The film is slated to release on November 30, 2018. Talking about the film, Mohsin had mentioned how when things go bad, one is likely to feel bad but that does not mean that people forget to laugh. He explained how situations change and everything is just a phase. He stated, how through the film, he wished to give out the same message to the youngsters and the parents.
