Photos: Team Badshaaho promotes the film in the capital

Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’cruz, Esha Gupta and Emraan Hashmi are on a promotional spree and have taken the capital city by storm. They star in Milan Luthria’s Badshaaho that releases on 1^st September. The film is a period heist film and also stars Vidyut Jamwal. The makers unveiled the trailer on August 7 and it has received very positive reviews. There is a lot of excitement amongst the audience about this film.

The film is set against the backdrop of the Emergency period in India. Ajay Devgn plays the role of Bhawani in the film, whereas Ileana essays the role of Queen Gitanjali. About their chemistry in the film Ileana had said, “It's weird but I have never tried to create chemistry. We had to feed off each other for which you need a great co-actor like him. He's intense and his eyes speak a lot. Ajay and I got along from the start and I never felt intimidated by him. There were mutual trust and respect between us, which helps drop your guard down as actors."

Milan Luthria, the director of the film also joined the cast of the film in Delhi. About the film, Milan had said, “We have used some facts, there is lot of stuff that was unusual and exciting. It (Emergency as subject) is a great backdrop for action and thrills. We have done extensive research on the subject”. This will be Milan’s fourth association with Ajay Devgn. They have worked together in Kacche Dhaage, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Chori Chori.
