Kareena Kapoor Khan recently opened up about Taimur Ali Khan's first birthday plans. In an interview with a daily, Kareena when asked how she and husband Saif Ali Khan are planning to celebrate his birthday, Kareena said, “Well, it’s going to be a family affair. It’s not going to be a big Bollywood party like how everyone sees it. It’s his first birthday and he should be with his family- his parents and his grandparents. It’s going to be a small intimate thing."

During an award ceremony; looking gorgeous in a white floral peplum gown, Kareena was bestowed with the Trendsetter of the Year Award. During her speech, she spoke about her son proclaiming, "The biggest trendsetter of the year is my baby Taimur Ali Khan."

Kareena had earlier spoken about her son, Taimur and had said, “Taimur will always be the centre of my being right now. Because I think more than anything, he is my soul. My heart doesn’t beat inside me anymore, its outside- and it’s in him. So, everything, whatever I do in my life from now on, will be about him. So, my friends and family and everyone around me should know that.”
