On the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput is currently shooting for Kedarnath. He will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan in the film. This will be Sara's debut film in Bollywood.
Sushant will be playing the role of a pithoo in the film. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he had told us, "I don’t debate those things – like these are things I normally don’t do in my life but instead I think I should be doing them. It’s just that I have to do what my character does and that’s non-negotiable. A few days back if you asked me if I know how to cook I would have said no, it could have been different but now, yes, I can say I know the basics of cooking (laugh). I can cook everything – like daal, chawal and roti to sabzis. Recently I went to meet the CRPF jawans at Manipur for Jai Jawan for August 15 and I made some nice, perfectly round, thin rotis there for them and you know that someone who can make round rotis can make daal-chawaal too! Now I can safely say I have the basic instinct to survive and how."
Kedarnath is slated for Christmas 2018 release.
Zaira Wasim was last seen in Secret Superstar, which also stars Aamir Khan in a pivotal role. She received a lot of appreciation for her role in the movie. Talking about the movie, she had earlier said, "Secret Superstar is a beautiful script and I have been very lucky and blessed to have worked with Aamir Khan twice. About the character, Insia, she is a girl with a lot of dreams. The film is about the relationship between a mother and a daughter and the struggles of just every other woman which they are unable to express most of the times.''
