Photos: Sonam Kapoor has a busy day in the city

Sonam Kapoor, who returned from America two days ago has dived into work. She shot for her clothing brand’s promotional video and attend an event. She was then spotted outside a salon today where she had gone to get her hair highlighted to get into the look of the character she will be essaying in Veere Di Wedding. Veere Di Wedding will be produced by Sonam’s sister, Rhea Kapoor. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. It will be helmed by Khoobsurat director Shashanka Ghosh.

Sonam is a fashionista and is often styled by Rhea Kapoor. In this film too, Rhea will be styling the cast. A source had said, “Rhea and Sonam Kapoor were in New York for a few of their professional commitments and then stayed back to look for outfits for the four leading ladies. Since the story is urban and contemporary, fashion plays a big part and Rhea wanted the looks in the film to reflect that. While Rhea was involved in the styling for 'Aisha,' this will be the first film she is officially styling for a movie.In fact several big brands have also been reaching out to the makers, wanting to associate with the film. In many ways, 'Veere Di Wedding' is going to be a game-changer in the fashion space and will be Bollywood's most fashionable film.”

About the film, Kareena had said, “It is going to be quite a chic flick. Yeah! It is my wedding in the movie and it will be different. Rhea is going to style me. It will be stylish. And with Sonam - the fashionista in the movie, I surely cannot wear my jeans and t-shirt. Or you never know, I may convince her to come out of her ball gowns and wear jeans and t-shirt. You'll wait and watch.”
