On the work front, Sonam will be next seen in R. Balki’s PadMan. The movie also stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte in lead roles.
Earlier, Sonam was all praises for Akshay and Balki as she said, "Such a pleasure working with the indomitable Akshay Kumar. He was the perfect person to play the role of Padman and has brought a sense of humour and love to the film. Of course, none of these would have been possible without the humble visionary R. Balki. Padman' is an incredible story that Akshay Kumar has brought to life with such grace and humility. Coming to a city near you."
PadMan is slated to release on January 26, 2018.
Jacqueline is all set to star opposite Salman Khan in Remo D'Souza's Race 3. This will her second film opposite the superstar after Kick (2014).
Talking about her Race 3 co-star Salman, she had said, "Salman is someone who sits on scenes, ideas and even when we are shooting, he will be like, ‘Why don’t you say this line?’ There’s so much give and take. The fact is that people like Salman or Akshay are still there where they are, only because of their passion. The new lot is passionate and enthusiastic. But everyone’s new, it’s been a couple of years. Those guys have maintained their stardom for the past 20 years and more. That’s a true test of time."
Talking about her role in the movie, she had said, "It's a very different role. I am really excited to play my character because it's actually a role that sees me in very different light. I am finding the role quite challenging to do.’’
