Photos: Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are hunting for a new house in the city

Sonam Kapoor will tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja next week. 

The Kapoors and Ahuja made an official announcement about the same last week and shared a statement, "The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives." 

Ahead of their wedding, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were snapped in the city today. The couple was looking for a new house together. Post that, they were also clicked outside a clinic. Sonam and Anand looked happy together as they stepped out. 

The Saawariya actor looked beautiful in a grey saree whereas Anand kept it casual and wore t-shirt and jeans.

Anand returned from New York today and looked very excited at the airport. From the airport, he directly met Sonam and started looking for a new house.

For the wedding, Anand will be sporting designer Raghavendra Rathore designs. The Kapoors and Ahujas have apparently roped in Rathore to design all the wedding outfits. The designer had collaborated with the Kapoor family in the past. He had previously designed the costumes for Fawad Khan in Khoobsurat, a movie co-produced by Rhea Kapoor. 

Anil Kapoor’s residence has been decorated with lights and family members are rehearsing for the sangeet party. The reception which will have ‘dance and music’ will be hosted in the evening of May 8, 2018, after the wedding.

Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and other family members have been rehearsing for their performances. Farah Khan and her team will be choreographing the sangeet ceremony. Bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor is also expected to put up a special performance.

Daddy Anil Kapoor will be performing on the iconic song, My Name is Lakhan and Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do. A source informed Filmfare, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers – Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan. It will be more fun because Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher will also be joining Anil.”
