Today, Sonali Bendre's closest friends from the industry Sussanne Khan, Dia Mirza and Gayatri Joshi Oberoi visited her book club to give an ode to her. Sonali, who has been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer is in New York for her treatment.

Sonali Bendre is currently in New York where she is getting treated for her high-grade cancer. The actor has been keeping everyone updated about her health through her social media pages and people are wishing her speedy recovery on every post. Sonali, apart from being a beautiful actor, started a book club for all the avid readers called Sonali's book club. The actor used to keep a lot of activities and workshops at her book club which witnessed a good turnout.

Today, to give an ode to Sonali's book club, her close friends from the industry namely Sussanne Khan, Dia Mirza and Gayatri Joshi Oberoi met up for an afternoon chat. We got our hands on a few photos where the trio is seen posing for the shutterbugs present there. Sussanne wore a white simple top and red striped pants. While Dia looked pretty in a red shirt and blue denim. Whereas Gayatri was seen in a blue ruffled shirt and cream trousers.

Recently, on Friendship Day, Sonali took to her Instagram page and shared her bald look while posing with Sussanne and Gayatri. She captioned the photo with a heartful message saying, "This is me. And in this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it's true and I'll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy. I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment's notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime... basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. Thank you for showing me what true friendship is. #HappyFriendshipDay, ladies. Blessed to have you all in my life (including the ones not in the picture...
