PHOTOS: Sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor get teary-eyed at Dhadak trailer launch
At the trailer launch of Dhadak, sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were seen sharing an emotional moment. Dhadak, also starring Ishaan Khatter, is slated to release on July 20, 2018.
It was a momentous day for Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter as the much-awaited trailer for Dhadak was unveiled today in the presence of the entire Kapoor Khandaan. Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor were also by Janhvi's side throughout the launch.
While Janhvi and Ishaan managed to impress everyone with their act in Dhadak's trailer, by the end of the launch, Janhvi was seen getting a little emotional as she missed her mother and veteran actor Sridevi on her huge day. Later during the photo op, the sisters Khushi and Janhvi were seen sharing an emotional moment as they got teary-eyed during the event. Janhvi was seen consoling Khushi and later ended up shedding a few tears herself.
The photos of the two siblings hugging and consoling each other have our hearts.
Meanwhile, Dhadak is slated to release on July 20, 2018, and is an official adaptation of the 2016 Marath hit film Sairat. The Marathi film was directed by Nagraj Manjule and had done an unprecedented business at the box office.
Dhadak is produced by Karan Johar and Zee Studios and has Shashank Khaitan of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania fame as the director. At the trailer launch, the young debutante was asked if she sought any advice from her late mother while filming for Dhadak. To this, Janhvi said that her mother had been supporting and guiding her throughout and that she misses her today.
