Photos: Shweta Bachchan Nanda and husband Nikhil Nanda clicked at Ritu Nanda’s book launch event

Ritu Nanda, daughter of the legendary actor, Raj Kapoor has published a book on her late father. She put together an archive a decade ago and has now added more visual content to the book. She has approached Amitabh Bachchan and other veterans from the film industry to share anecdotes about Raj Kapoor.  In a recent conversation with media, Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that Ritu Nanda was in touch with him to obtain more information about her father.

Today, the Kapoor family launched the book. The whole family was in attendance to support Ritu Nanda. Seen at the book launch event are Rishi Kapoor with wife Neetu Kapoor, their daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni with husband Bharat Sahni, Rima Jain, Randhir Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor, Nafisa Ali and Jaya Bachchan.

Ritu Nanda is Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s mother-in-law. Shweta and husband Nikhil Nanda were clicked at the event and seemed to be quite elated. The couple posed together and were all smiles for the paparazzi.

Shweta Bachchan looked beautiful in a traditional attire and greeted all the guests warmly. Shweta is a columnist and her writings are full of humor and satire.

Earlier, when she was asked about the reason of not pursuing a career in Bollywood, she had said, “I’m scared of cameras and I’m not good with crowds. I don’t think I have the talent or the face to be a heroine. I’m happy where I am.’
