Photos: Shraddha Kapoor looks sensational as she turns showstopper for Rahul Mishra at the Lakme Fashion Week

The Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai has just begun and we have already seen a bevy of B-Town ladies walk the ramp for their favorite designers. Preity Zinta, Radhika Apte, Chitrangada Singh and Kalki Koechlin have already stunned us with their looks as showstoppers. Today, Shraddha Kapoor wowed us as she walked the ramp for designer Rahul Mishra. Shraddha wore a lovely lehenga that had exquisite detailing and embroidery.  She carried it off with confidence and panache. Last year too, Shraddha Kapoor was a part of the fashion week. She had walked for ace designer Manish Malhotra with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Professionally, Shraddha Kapoor’s career is going great guns. She has Haseena Parkar up for release in which she stars with brother Siddhant Kapoor. It is a biopic on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. About the film and her role, Shraddha had said, “Yes, it’s difficult and challenging. I met Haseena’s family, spent time with them and tried to understand her. I had to put on some weight as well. I also did some reading with the cast.”

She has also signed a biopic on badminton player, Saina Nehwal. “Most girls have played badminton at some point in their lives in school. I feel so lucky to be playing Saina, who’s not just been the world’s No. 1 badminton player, but is also a youth icon. I can’t wait to start prepping for my role.”

Shraddha also announced her being a part of Saaho with Bahubali star Prabhas. She wrote on her Twitter account, “So so excited to be a part of the 'Saaho' team & to be working with Prabhas!!! Woohoo”.

It sure is an interesting line-up of films for Shraddha Kapoor!
