Photos: Shraddha Kapoor looks pretty at the screening of Haseena

Shraddha Kapoor’s next, Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai is all set to hit the theatres on September 22. The film based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister will clash with Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi.

The team of the film organized a special screening for the cast and crew of the film. In attendance were Shraddha Kapoor with brother Siddhant Kapoor, Preeti Jhangiani, Kim Sharma and Ankur Bhatia. Shradda Kapoor looked lovely in a blue dress that she paired with Kolhapuri chappals. Shraddha seemed to be in an upbeat mood and posed for pictures for the media.

About her role in Haseena Parkar, Shraddha had said in an interview with a website, “Especially with Haseena. I'm very nervous. But I'm in my own bubble. I want to keep bettering myself as an actor and singer. But I do know that Haseena as a film will be different because it is the first time I'm playing a grey character. I'm hoping it all goes well.”

Director Apoorva Lakhia will be back with Haseena after Mission Istanbul and Zanjeer. About his association with Shraddha Kapoor on the film, Apoorva had said, “I could only give her a basic idea of what I wanted and I think she had done a great job. It (the film) is a bigger risk for her than it's for me. She plays these chocolaty lovable heroines, where she sings songs. In real life too she is a chirpy person. But Haseena doesn't have any of these things. Also, everyone was surprised when I approached her," in an interview to a leading daily.
