On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the movie Kabir Singh in which he was paired up opposite Kiara Advani. The movie, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga performed really well at the box office and was declared a blockbuster hit. It happens to be a remake of the 2017 hit Telugu movie Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. This movie was also directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
