Ishaan Khatter turns a year older today and he ringed in his birthday with family and friends at a popular restaurant in Mumbai. Ishaan debuted in the industry this year and has managed to win hearts by his subtle and restrained performance in his debut film, Beyond the Clouds and his second film, Dhadak. Ishaan received immense praise for his performance as Madhu in Dhadak. He showcased his dancing and acting abilities in the film that did good business at the box office.

Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput arrived at the popular restaurant for Ishaan’s birthday celebration. Shahid Kapoor was dressed casually and Mira Rajput looked stunning in a purple top and flared pant. Mira posted a video from the celebration and Ishaan can be seen admiring his birthday cake in it. Janhvi Kapoor who debuted in the industry with Dhadak was also present for the celebration. Janhvi opted for a beige bodycon dress and paired it with sneakers. After the celebration, Ishaan exited with his mother and shared a tender moment with her.

Ishaan is reportedly in talks with many directors for his next projects. He has not made an official announcement about his next film yet. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ishaan has auditioned for Mira Nair’s next project.

Talking about his birthday celebration, Ishaan told Hindustan Times that he enjoys celebrating his birthday but not in a loud way. His idea of celebrating is watching a movie with friends or handing out with friends with good music and food.
