PHOTOS: Shahid Kapoor clicked with mom Neelima Azeem at an event

Today, Shahid Kapoor was clicked with his mom Neelima Azeem at an event in the city.

Shahid looked handsome in a grey outfit. He styled his look with black shoes and perfectly set hair. Neelima, on the other hand, looked beautiful as ever in a black outfit. The mother-son duo was all smiles as they got clicked by the shutterbugs.

Shahid is one of the three lead actors of the controversial film "Padmavati". In an interview recently, he had said, " "No one wants to make a film to hurt sentiments because it’s for as many people as possible to see. I hope people will believe in that. This film has a lot of firsts attached to it. I don’t know what the end result will be - better than what we expect or worse. People react to a story anyway, and if it has originality and the right cinematic quality, it will work. The reaction will be positive. This is a really good film and I am hoping people will like it."

Coming to the defense of the movie, Neelima had earlier said, "Actually, there is no logic in the controversy. If there was any scene which they are raising voices against, then I would say that there is a controversy but they are actually raising their voice against something which is not there in the film. It doesn't make sense."

When asked if Shahid has discussed this with her or if such things have got him worked up, Neelima had added, "Shahid is a very balanced person, he doesn't react to things. He believes in the best and does his best. At the same time, I don't think he would be discussing things like this because it is really in Mr Bhansali's hand now and I am sure he will take care of his film very well."
