Photos: Shah Rukh Khan meets Kabir Khan; is a film on the cards?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at a recording studio today. He is currently working on Anand L Rai’s dwarf film with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Shah Rukh met up with ‘Tubelight’ director Kabir Khan at the studio.

Kabir and Shah Rukh have worked with each other in Tubelight where Shah Rukh had a cameo and for a tourism ad. “I have known Shah Rukh for years. He was the only one I knew when I came to Mumbai. We were in the same college (in Delhi), he was my senior in the film school, I studied from his notes. Gauri and I danced in stage productions. Obviously when we went to him, I told Salman that we should have Shah Rukh for the role. Shah Rukh was ready in an instant. That day the entire crew became an audience. Everybody left their work and were watching the shoot. Just the energy of the two of them… Both of them are powerhouses and to see them after 20 years, it’s going to be a treat. ,” Kabir had said during the making of Tubelight.

Kabir’s next project has not been announced yet and it was speculated that he had approached Hrithik Roshan for his next. However, some reports also suggested that Kabir will re-unite with Salman Khan for his next. However, his meeting with Shah Rukh Khan makes us wonder whether Shah Rukh Khan will star in his next project. A source had earlier mentioned, “Shah Rukh and Kabir are very keen on doing a feature film; they go back a very long way,”
