Photos: Shah Rukh Khan catches up with Team Ittefaq - Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Karan Johar
A press meet with Team Ittefaq was held in the city.
Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha are collaborating on screen for the first time in Ittefaq. Directed by Abhay Chopra and co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions, Ittefaq also stars Akshaye Khanna and is the remake of the 1969 Yash Chopra thriller of the same name which then starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri.
Instead of full-fledged movie promotions, the makers of Ittefaq have taken the no-promotions route to keep the suspense factor intact. Karan Johar had earlier stated to a leading news agency, "We want to protect the intrigue, mystery and thrilling point of the film. When actors go out for film promotions that time in a media interview, they reveal facts and details of the plot. So, B.R. Films, Shah Rukh Khan and myself, we all have mutually decided to protect the content of the film."
Today, a press meet with the entire team took place which has been the first time we are seeing the entire cast together. Joining them were Karan and Shah Rukh Khan.
SRK looked handsome in a black pantsuit with a white shirt and brown shoes. Karan looked dapper in a black tee, a black blazer with a red layered striped as the collar, black trousers and black shoes.
Sidharth looked handsome in a brown floral shirt, a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. Sonakshi looked beautiful in a green pantsuit with a huge black belt cinched at the waist. Akshaye looked smart in a black and white striped tee, a dark blue jacket with blue jeans and brown shoes.
